Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping with us at Society Hounds! If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help.

Your original form of payment will be refunded for full-priced items returned in store within 30 days of purchase. If returned after 30 days, a Society Hounds' Store Credit will be issued. Items can be exchanged for store credit and/or other merchandise only up to 30 days after purchase. Items purchased at a sale price are considered FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or exchanged in-store or through mailed returns.

To be eligible for a return, your items must be unused, with the original tags attached, accompanied by a physical or digital Society Hounds' receipt.

Returns with a gift receipt will be exchanged or refunded to a Society Hounds Store Credit for the value indicated on the gift receipt. 

E-commerce returns must be handled within 30 days of delivery date, and shipped back before the 30th day to receive a full refund to the original payment. Flat rate shipping fee of $15 for any returns and/or exchanges.

 

Sale Items Policy

Items purchased at a discount, including promotional pricing, markdowns, seasonal reductions, clearance pricing, or any other temporary price adjustments, are considered Sale Items.

All Sale Items are FINAL SALE and are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.

This policy applies to all sale merchandise purchased online, in-store, or at any pop-up shop, event, or promotional activation.

We reserve the right to determine whether an item qualifies as a Sale Item and to refuse any return that does not comply with our policy.

 

Custom Items Policy

All custom items—defined as any product that has been altered, personalized, or modified from its original design—are nonrefundable and not eligible for store credit. A minimum deposit of 50% is required at the time of checkout to initiate the design and preparation process. If a customer chooses to cancel their custom order before the item enters production, the deposit is refundable. Once the final design is approved by all parties, the remaining balance must be paid in full before production begins.

All custom items are subject to a customization fee, which is charged in addition to the original retail price. This fee varies based on the complexity of the design and will be discussed and agreed upon before production.

Due to the unique and personalized nature of custom items, returns and exchanges are not accepted once production has started. If additional alterations or adjustments are requested after production has begun or the item has been delivered, separate customization fees will apply. These fees vary depending on the scope of work and the designer involved.

 

Online Exchange Policy

At Society Hounds, we take pride in the craftsmanship and quality of every item. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are pleased to offer exchanges under the following terms:

Eligibility

  • Exchanges are valid up to 30 days from the date of delivery, in accordance with our return policy.

  • Items must be unused, unworn, and in original packaging with all tags attached.

  • Items showing signs of wear, damage, or alteration are not eligible for exchange.

  • Final sale, custom, or personalized items cannot be exchanged.

How to Request an Exchange

Please contact our Sales Team at sales@societyhounds.com or call our store at (310) 600-6629 with:

  • Your order number

  • The item(s) you wish to exchange

  • The new size, color, or product desired

We will put your item(s) on hold while your exchange is being processed.

Upon receiving and inspecting the returned item, we will ship your replacement within 1–3 business days, depending on stock availability in store.

If the requested item is not currently in stock but scheduled to be restocked, we will add your name to our priority list and set the item aside as soon as it arrives. Your replacement will be shipped immediately upon restock, and you will receive an email confirmation once your item(s) are on their way.

Exchange Shipping

We kindly request that customers cover the cost of shipping their item(s) back to Society Hounds. We will, however, cover the shipping cost of your replacement item(s) back to you as a courtesy.

Society Hounds is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please notify us within 7 days of delivery.
We will provide a prepaid return shipping label and promptly send a replacement at no additional cost.

Gift Exchanges

Gifts may be exchanged for store credit in the form of a Society Hounds Gift Card, issued to the original purchaser or to the recipient as requested.

 

Price Protection and Matching Policy

Society Hounds will refund the difference if any item's price drops after purchased, only up to 14 days. Society Hounds is not obligated to match any Vendor's retail pricing, nor additional third parties who carry the same items.
